St. Alexander Nevsky Russian School Homebush (Sydney, Australia) established in 1971 and till this day remains one of the oldest and largest in NSW.
Children have the opportunity to begin their education from the age of three, attending two kindergarten classes and then moving up from grade one until grade ten. The school is highly proud of its dedicated teaching staff.
School lessons are held on Saturdays commencing at 9am, scheduled according to the New South Wales school terms. The school conducts classes on the grounds of Homebush Public School.

Students receive homework each week. Every year, an individual project is to be completed by the student, dictations and tests are conducted on a regular basis. Half-yearly exams take place at the end of Term 2, final exams at the end of the school year (Term 4).
The teachers use textbooks that best suit needs and abilities of our students. Some of the school resources are ordered from Russia, while others are compiled by our teachers.
Every year, the school hosts the St Alexander Nevsky Day and School Concert. Both events showcase the achievements of our students.
